Collinsville Bible Baptist Paul Terrell, who played the trumpet for the Gaither Band for several years, will be performing at special services at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 5-6, at Collinsville Bible Baptist Church. Friday night’s topic will be "The Trump Shall Resound," with Terrell playing the trumpet as the crowd sings "It Is Well with My Soul," “The Solid Rock (When He shall come with trumpet sound)” and “When the Roll is Called Up Yonder (When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound).” Saturday’s will be a God and Country program. All military, veterans, law enforcement officers and firefighters in the area are invited to come and be honored for their service. Saturday will open with two stanzas of “The Star Spangled Banner.” "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" and "God of Our Fathers" will also be sung Saturday night by the crowd, accompanied by the trumpet and professional pianist Julie Smith.
